Companies assisted Ameren in power restoration efforts
ST. LOUIS (May 30, 2025) – Recently, the St. Louis community has been impacted due to the severe weather, causing injury and property damage. Many neighborhoods lost their electric power because of storm damage.

MasTec Power Delivery has four companies that work in the St. Louis market for Ameren: INTREN, Three Phase, Shade Tree and Utility Traffic and Restoration. All of these companies helped support Ameren’s storm response efforts to restore power to the impacted communities as fast and safely as possible.
Last week, Ameren announced a series of donations to support community organizations who are working to support recovery efforts from the tragic storms and tornado on May 16. Each of these companies wanted to stand with the community and reached out to help organize a donation on behalf of MasTec following Ameren’s lead.

Greg Gensch, the Vice President of Operations for Shade Tree said, “Since 1935, Shade Tree has proudly served the St. Louis community by living to a set of core values. One of these core values we live by each day is, the purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others.”
Matt Guenzler, Regional Director for Intren added that, “Since 2009, INTREN has taken great pride to ensure the people involved in our St. Louis communities are the priority each day.”

Eric Burkey, Regional Director of Three Phase Electric, said, “We wanted to make sure we helped out in any way we could because we serve the community.”
The MasTec companies stand with not only Ameren, but also the people of St. Louis. We hope you and your families are able to heal and recover quickly. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you each and every day.
