On Thursday, November 5, 2015 Alex Lucio, Brenda Gunnink and Jimmae Lucio (in picture order) represented INTREN at the first Alcott School Community Resource night in Milwaukee.
Many different organizations within the community were present including the Fire Dept., ITT Tech, PNC Bank and MPS Recreational Department (to name a few). The event was held to build community awareness and provide attendees with valuable resources, contacts and career opportunities. They also provided free mammograms to individuals in need during the event. PNC bank also plans to come back to teach the 8th graders about budgeting, etc. before the head off to high school.
Alex and Jimmae are both active volunteers within the school with Jimmae running the PTO; both of their daughters also attend Alcott.
Thanks to all three of you for your support and for getting INTREN out into the local community!
