Thank you for coming out yesterday and participating in the Bob Blazier Run for the Arts, sponsored by the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake. There was a chill in the air and a threat of rain… but that didn’t daunt the mighty INTREN STORM TROOPERS!  The event raised nearly $17,000 total and our valiant team of Superheroes united to bring home more WINS, too!  Enjoy some stats (link below) and more photos to appear on ICE soon!

- INTREN came in 1st Place again this year as the highest fundraising team, just edging out Eisenmann, with $1,700 collected! Sheri Turk was our biggest fundraiser! WAY TO GO, SHERI! We are now proud owners of a Bob Blazier Bobblehead trophy to commemorate our victory!

- Greg Penza’s son, Michael, also won a first place medal for the 5k, coming in 1st place in the male 15-19 year old category with a race time of 7:14. WAY TO OUTRUN & OUTPERFORM!!!

- Little Batman Greg Taylor (Deb’s 8 year old son) placed 2nd in the 1 mile walk.

Thanks, again, for representing INTREN and supporting the Raue’s theater and art programs for children across Chicago’s suburbs!
