On March 16th, INTREN and Loretta Rosenmayer, Founder and CEO, will receive the Chicago Foundation for Women’s (CFW) 2016 Outstanding Corporate Citizen Impact Award for their dedication and steadfast commitment to women in the construction industry and greater business world. All around the world, women are breaking new ground in business thanks to people like Loretta Rosenmayer and her passion to help those in need, succeed.

Rosenmayer’s passion extends far beyond the utility industry. Best known for her drive to make a difference in the lives of others, Loretta is widely regarded as a thoughtful advocate for women, who works methodically to drive change without seeking the limelight. Under her leadership at INTREN, the company has received numerous awards such as Ameren’s Corporate Partner of the Year and ENR Midwest’s Specialty Contractor of the Year.  Active partnership with ComEd’s Chicago urban employment training program, CONSTRUCT, and the YWCA are just a few of the many commitments INTREN supports to help women and minorities entering the energy industry. 

This wife, mother and WBE business owner began INTREN with just 4 employees in 1988.  Since that time the company has grown exponentially and now encompasses an award winning team of 1,100 individuals representing a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences that reflect the dynamic face of American small business.   At its very core are the pillars of INTREN’s success: Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus and Employee Empowerment.

The 2016 Impact Awards will be held at Venue SIX10 at Spertus Institute in Chicago, Illinois, on March 16th.
