Torrential rainfall and high winds during the night of Tuesday, July 12^th caused havoc to more than 11,000 homeowners who woke up without power on Wednesday. INTREN was more than willing and ready to respond to the call to assist the Midwest’s major utility companies in helping to restore power to their customers. In the Northwest Chicago area, INTREN dispatched over 38 crews who worked diligently and safely to replace electric poles ripped down by the storm in several rural locations and townships.
