- Fully closed off only small areas of the site at a time to minimize the disturbance to the surrounding pedestrian and vehicle traffic
Through careful coordination, the need for directional boring was eliminated, allowing for open trenching
Results:
- Eliminating directional boring and allowing for open trenching provided substantial cost savings
- Improvements to campus provided for increased accessibility and safety
