Journeyman Mechanic, 2nd Shift (INTREN)

Bolingbrook, Illinois - The Journeyman Mechanic is responsible for timely diagnosis, maintenance and repair of light to medium duty vehicles (gasoline and diesel), off-road construction equipment and trailers.

Please note if you are seeking a collective bargaining position, you must sign up at the local union hall/s. Due to contract agreements, we must source our field needs  through the union halls directly. Our Open Positions Page will list the positions we are currently accepting applications for.

Project Coordinator

 Franklin Park, IL

The primary responsibility for this position is to support project planning, construction, and close-out activities as required by project or contract specifications. This position may also assist with the development of project plans and schedules to execute scope safety, efficiently, and cost effectively. May also help monitor project performance (cost, schedule, scope changes, safety, and quality).

Project Manager

The Project Manager is the primary point of contact with the customer for the contracts assigned to them. This position is responsible for driving the overall operational performance of the contract. The Project Manager is responsible to ensure all customer contract requirements are met and that the projects meet or exceed all performance targets.

 

SAFETY PROFESSIONAL

Philadelphia, PA/Baltimore, MD and Kansas City, MO

The Safety Professional is responsible for a multitude of items ranging from safety, equipment issues, quality of workmanship, technical training and the efficient distribution of tools and equipment. Responsible for promoting exceptional Safety/Quality teamwork with INTREN operations teams at customer work sites. This position assists in resolving process problems and performs safety evaluations and workmanship audits, and promotes improved performance by providing mentoring, coaching, and training.

At INTREN we believe in continually investing in the future of our communities and employees. We have developed a college recruitment program aimed at investing significant training time in prospective new hires in various areas of operations to business. Applicants who will be considered will be those pursing a Bachelor’s Degree related to construction management from an accredited college or university. Candidates must be willing to work at a variety of worksites during the internship program.
