Women’s Business Enterprise

INTREN is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) and The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).  INTREN became certified as a WBE in 1993 and remains WBE-certified; continuing to build on its founding principles of Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus and Empowerment of Employees.

INTREN remains very active in the WBDC. Year after year, Loretta Rosenmayer, founder and CEO, proudly stands with other businesswomen in expanding industry awareness of high-performing women-owned businesses. An active booster of women in businesses of all types, INTREN is a committed partner to clients and contractors seeking to meet WBE guidelines.

Loretta believes that the utility industry is unique in its positive response to women. She has met minimal obstacles to being a woman-owned business in this field, and she believes that in this industry you are judged on your delivery, not your gender.
