Anderson Graduates from Leadership Greater McHenry County
Keri Anderson, an Intren Financial Analyst, graduated June 3 from the Leadership Greater McHenry County. Keri participated with other future leaders in the one-year program, which stresses local leadership and community involvement. Congratulations to Keri!
LGMC works to develop leaders in the community, by helping those that are enrolled in the program, to learn about the various services and programs that are available within McHenry County. The program consists of a full day meeting, held once a month, for the “class” to learn about the various services and/or issues in the community. As a final project and as a requirement for graduation, each classmate is assigned a team in which they must focus on a subject that concerns the community, and present this to the class.
Tim Liace earned his LEED AP BD+C title in May 2009.
LEED AP BD+C stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design – Accredited Professional, with a designation for Building Design & Construction. The LEED system is regulated by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and standardizes the certification of energy efficient buildings. As the building industry becomes more “green” conscience, there will a need for individuals who are knowledgeable in energy efficient design strategies. The designation of LEED AP conveys the fact that Tim is knowledgeable in these areas and should help INTREN as an increasing amount of jobs have LEED requirements.
Intren is committed to making a difference in our employees, communities and for our customers!
